Job Description

Our Tax Department is seeking a tax accountant to assist the team with their springtime busy season. Under the guidance and supervision of the tax director, the tax intern will gain experience in various areas of tax by supporting the department for 40 hours a week between the dates of January 5th 2026, to April 17th 2026

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare the workpapers for a complex structure of partnership entities; calculations include equity capital tables, taxable income, fixed assets, state modifications, asset acquisitions, etc.
• Prepare the workpapers and returns for four simple corporate entities, including provision calculations and taxable income reporting.
• Conduct the annual collection of investor state tax elections - both composite and withholding.
• Respond to notices received from tax jurisdictions (federal, state, and local).
• Attend to various responsibilities as needed regarding items including but not limited to property tax compliance, vendor management, investor interactions, tax planning/strategy/research, mail duties, etc.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Tax, Accounting, or a related field
