    Key Responsibilities

    Technical & Client Responsibilities

    Review and manage preparation of complex tax returns, including:

    Multi-entity and consolidated business returns (S-Corps, Partnerships)

    High-net-worth individual returns

    Provide technical guidance on tax planning and compliance matters

    Identify tax-saving opportunities and proactively advise clients

    Serve as a primary point of contact for select clients

    Leadership & Team Development

    Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and senior accountants

    Provide structured training and coaching, especially on technical tax topics and workflows

    Review workpapers and returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and efficiency

    Support performance management, including feedback and evaluations

    Process & Operations

    Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

    Improve workflow efficiency and standardize processes where possible

    Maintain high realization and utilization rates

    Assist in implementing and optimizing firm technology and systems

    Qualifications

    Required

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

    CPA license (or actively pursuing with strong progress)

    5–8+ years of public accounting experience, with significant exposure to business taxation

    Strong experience with:

    UltraTax (Thomson Reuters)

    Accounting CS

    Proven experience reviewing complex business returns (multi-state, multi-entity structures)

    Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members

    Preferred

    Experience in a mid-sized or growing firm environment

    Strong project management and delegation skills

    Experience with workflow or practice management tools (e.g., Canopy or similar systems)
