About the Role: This role is ideal for an experienced Tax Manager who thrives in a leadership position and enjoys a balance of technical tax work, client interaction, and team development. As a Tax Manager, you will oversee complex returns, guide client engagements from start to finish, and help shape the growth of our tax practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review individual, business, and multi-entity tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
- Approve and sign off on completed tax work for delivery to clients.
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to enhance technical expertise and career progression.
- Analyze client tax situations to identify opportunities for savings and improved strategies.
- Cultivate client relationships, expanding service opportunities through trust and expertise.
- Monitor engagement profitability and manage billing processes.
- Stay current with evolving tax laws and industry trends to provide informed guidance.
Qualifications:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent credential required.
- 5–7 years of public accounting tax experience across multiple industries.
- Generalist Tax focus, coming from a public accounting firm
- Strong technical skills in tax preparation and review, with a proven track record of accuracy.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams while delivering exceptional client service.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
