    Paralegal – Tax Filings & Legal Support

We're seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal with tax filing experience to support attorneys and clients with key legal and IRS-related documentation.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and file various IRS tax forms, including:

      • Section 83(b) elections

      • Form 8832 (Entity Classification Election)

      • Form 8875 (Tax Credit Bonds)

      • Form 2553 (S Corp Election)

      • Form 1023 (Tax-Exempt Status)

      • Form SS-4 (Employer Identification Numbers)

    • Track submissions and maintain follow-up systems to ensure timely and accurate filing.

    • Communicate directly with the IRS, clients, attorneys, and government agencies.

    • Compile, distribute, and manage documents for signatures and legal recordkeeping.

    • Work closely with tax attorneys and legal teams across multiple practice areas.

    • Research federal, state, and local tax laws, using legal databases and government websites.

    • Identify and resolve issues related to tax compliance and legal deadlines.

    • Support other administrative or legal tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required.

    • 2+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

    • Strong working knowledge of U.S. tax law and IRS filing procedures.

    • Familiarity with California tax regulations is a plus.

    • Proficient with legal research tools, IRS databases, and e-filing systems.

    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with legal case management software preferred.

    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
