The National Recruiting Division of CBIZ LLP is recruiting for Tax Partner for the Estate & Trust division.

Responsibilities

• The Partner will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements simultaneously & delivering top quality tax research/planning & compliance services to a portfolio of clients.
• The position requires a professional with Tax expertise with strong Business Development, Interpersonal and Managerial skills, (of Clients, Time & Staff).
• A track record of delivering quality work for clients; demonstrating an understanding of the client's business and relevant professional standards and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Perform research, develop and implement strategies, and draft memoranda on complex tax issues
• Build new and existing client relationships thru in depth understanding of client’s business, and cross-selling other viable professional resources.
• Generate new business revenue streams annually from both new and existing clients
• Represent the Firm by presenting on areas of expertise at internal and 3rd party sponsored event
• Efficiently attract, hire, mentor, and manage employee, and develop best practice regarding direct interactions with client's.
• Provide staff with engagement reviews, and identify area's of success and/or areas in need of improvement
• Maintain required annual CPEs
• Participate in firm-sponsored activities
• Develop staff by taking an active role in the Firm’s learning and development activities

Qualifications

• Trust, Estate, and Tax Planning Expertise
• Licensed CPA 10+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to articulately communicate tax & technical accounting data to non-tax professionals, (Families, Owners, etc.)
• Tax & Business Advisory skills related to Estate, Trust, Gifting, Generational Wealth Transfer, etc
• Decisively identify and execute solutions to complex Tax issues.
• Thorough understanding of complex technical issues, and provide Quality Control oversight of Financial & Tax compliance standards.
• Advanced knowledge of Tax Law knowledge

Compensation will range $275k-325k+B

This compensation range is specific to certain locations and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
