Responsibilities: • Check each tax form for accuracy and tax compliance • Use all eligible tax benefits for the client • Handle tax filings in an organized, secure manner to ensure each client’s privacy is protected • Provide guidance for future taxes and help them make a plan for the upcoming year to save as much money as possible • Tell clients about the tax process and what the deadlines are to make sure everything gets turned in on time Qualifications: • Has used standard tax computing software to file returns • Understands state and federal tax laws and can quickly interpret sections of the tax code for basic and atypical tax forms • Has a valid PTIN from the Internal Revenue Service • Must have a college degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel Compensation: $35 - $50 hourly
