DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

As a Tax Services Associate at FORVIS, you will gain valuable experience and use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems and apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career. You will also work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skillset.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Prepare and review tax returns

• Plan and research tax issues

• Manage client relationships and provide unmatched client service

• Identify opportunities to serve clients through other FORVIS services

• Assist with the development and supervision of other tax personnel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• In-depth knowledge of current tax laws and regulations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience or internships in a public accounting firm performing tax work
