    ** Key Responsibilities**

    • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
    • Conduct tax research and stay informed on changing tax laws and regulations.
    • Communicate directly with clients to gather financial data, answer tax-related questions, and provide guidance.
    • Identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies for clients.
    • Assist with IRS and state notices, inquiries, and audits.
    • Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met during tax season.
    • Provide exceptional client service with professionalism and confidentiality.

    ** Qualifications**

    • 2+ years of experience in tax preparation.
    • CPA, EA, or progress toward certification (preferred).
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preffered).
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws for individuals and businesses.
    • Proficiency in tax software (UltraTax, Drake, ProSeries, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to explain tax matters clearly to clients.
