Position Summary:
We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical work, client interaction, and team leadership. You will oversee and review complex tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in managing workflow and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff and seniors; provide performance feedback and support development
• Assist with tax planning, research, and compliance for clients in a range of industries
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Identify and resolve tax issues proactively with minimal supervision
• Stay current with federal and state tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
• CPA certification (or in active pursuit) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation is a plus
• 4–6 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
• Proven experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements
• Strong technical knowledge of tax code and regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Comfortable working onsite in Westborough 3+ days per week in a hybrid schedule
