    Job Description

    Taylor & Francis is seeking an eBook Sales Manager (Americas) to join its successful commercial team. This is a key position for our continued business success and growth.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    • Achieve and exceed annual territory sales targets, delivering the overall revenue and profit objectives.
    • Seek out new opportunities and customers throughout the region within various corporate markets, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to maximize upselling potential and repeat business.
    • Design, with key stakeholders, strategic plans, ensuring activity is relevant and flexible to changing markets conditions.
    • Target eBook sales to specialist corporate customers working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemistry, food sciences, and technology.
    • Manage resources to ensure sales activity and internal processes are optimal in the success of the sales operation.
    • Report periodically to key stakeholders on sales progress, business development and industry trends.
    • Drive organic revenue by actively working across cross-functional teams to enhance the value proposition and explore new markets.
    • Maintain and build strong working relationships with business partners.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Strong sales background with a proven track record for getting results.
    • Strategic consultative sales approach and skills to manage sales plans and delivery.
    • Ability to create and maintain positive and effective relationships with the sales team, internal colleagues and external partners.
    • Be able to build rapport with current and new customers, and foster business relationships with key decision makers
    • Well organized, able to prioritize and manage your time to maximize results.
    • High level of digital proficiency. 
    • Knowledge and experience in publishing and US eBooks market. 
    • Willingness to travel as required.

    • You must have the right to work and live in United States
    • This role is open to candidate on the East Coast of the US in order to maximize the amount of hours worked with UK colleagues 
    • Domestic and international travel to T&F offices may be required
