    Looking for an opportunity to fully leverage your social media marketing chops? We have an exciting role for a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our Channel Marketing team. As a talented social media manager, you will lead a small team of specialists and work with internal stakeholders to manage the development and execution of social media campaigns. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, ensuring that copy and design address customer needs and meet organizational standards.  

    The focus of this role will be development and delivery of social media marketing based on corporate strategy and business opportunities. Your team will leverage campaign insights to recommend and implement creative optimizations to maximize social media impact and drive engagement.  

    The salary range for this role is circa $85,000

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

    Help us foster human progress through knowledge! As a Content Marketing Manager you will aid in our mission by…

    • Managing the regional marketing team responsible for the implementation of social media campaigns to researcher (B2C) and institutional (B2B) audiences.
    • Working with your team to design, implement, and launch social media marketing promotions in order to reach and engage priority target audiences (i.e. existing and/or potential customers, KOLs, influencers, etc.) across various social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Working seamlessly with internal team leads across social and other marketing verticals to ensure messaging, cadence, imagery, and targeting methodologies clearly align with customer needs and/or the campaign's overarching strategic vision.
    • Managing social marketing budget effectively ensuring return on investment.
    • Maintaining a line-of-sight to the latest industry developments within the social media space, recommending areas for improvement/optimization where relevant to ensure T&F's social media marketing approach remains in-line with industry standards.
    • Planning, implementing, reporting on ROI, and adapting social media activities to meet an agreed set of commercial objectives and KPIs and within agreed timelines and budgets
    • Optimizing and continuously refining social media strategies and feed them into the regional team/departmental strategy.
    • Collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders who can benefit from, and inform the development of, the expert capability and best practices.
    • Developing and maintaining social media marketing timelines and project plans, setting expectations and providing ongoing updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure content is being built according to schedule.
    • Working across regional and global teams to deliver on key campaigns - ensuring smooth delivery of the wider business objectives and department KPIs.
    • Leading and developing direct reports, fostering a culture of high-level performance, motivation, quality, efficiency, and innovation in the team helping to encourage new ideas and constructive feedback.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Possess a high degree of understanding of market conditions and  opportunities.
    • Demonstrable experience and expertise in social media strategies, including paid and organic.
    • Experience with planning, delivering, and reporting on business strategic activities that drive organizational growth.
    • Successful experience in leading a delivery team, product portfolio or customer channel.
    • Deep experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Solid insights to measuring social media campaign success using social media reporting tools and Google Analytics.
    • Expert ability to translate performance data into meaningful insights to help evaluate campaign success and inform future campaign strategies.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write/develop engaging social media ad copy.
    • Ability to lead internal cross-functional sales and marketing team to plan and develop successful content marketing strategies, timelines, and materials to support the overarching campaign objectives.
