POSITION SUMMARY

Taylored Systems is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of IT Services/VoIP Engineer. Taylored has grown our Voice Technologies and IT Managed Services offerings considerably over the last several years, and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about growing and developing with us. This position would be responsible for fielding tickets for Moves/Adds/Changes and Incidents that are reported from our VoIP and IT customers.

This position will have numerous customer contact, both remotely and onsite, configuring, installing new hardware or applications, and servicing existing installations. We do installations and provide services from a few devices up to 1,000 devices, depending on what our customers wants and needs. Many of our customers have multiple applications and hardware on their site that Taylored Systems has sold them and now services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accepting and Resolving Tickets as reported by our customers
• Taylored doesn’t utilize a “Tiered” support system – you are expected to resolve the issue from inception to completion, with the help of your team, if required
• Installing VoIP phone systems and other services as needed by our customers to our standards
• Work to improve your knowledge in our industry each day
  • Taylored offers programs for obtaining certifications
• Work as efficiently & effectively as possible
• Communicating with dispatchers and Voice/IT Team on ongoing issues
• Completing all required documentation
• Adhering to On-Call procedures
• Abide by all company policies and procedures

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Seeking an individual with 2-3 years of IT experience – particularly in an MSP environment
• Candidate is expected to primarily work out of our Noblesville Network Operations Center 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday
• College Experience / Industry Certifications will receive additional consideration
• Knowledge of VoIP products and applications, basic networking, and PC skills
• Prior Experience with our established platforms – Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, Peplink, Datto, Ubiquiti, Connectwise, Metaswitch, Zultys, A+, Net+ are not required - but desired
• Must be able to occasionally work from and move a 6-12’ step ladders
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
• Must be able to perform overhead work
• All candidates must pass background check and drug test
