About the Role:

PEH Inc in Lexington, KY is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join their team! Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and educational activities for students

Support lead teacher in classroom instruction and daily learning objectives

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and encouragement

Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student development

Assist with classroom management and behavioral guidance

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Experience in an educational, childcare, or classroom setting preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with students

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Relevant degree or coursework in Education, Child Development, or related field a plus

Must pass required background checks and meet state compliance standards
