    Company Description

    Creative STEAM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit learning center in Laguna Woods, CA, offering an innovative alternative to traditional schooling. We provide small group learning environments funded by community partners to empower students from TK to 8th grade with skills in various subjects. Our mission is to foster a love of exploration and discovery through interactive and engaging learning experiences, supported by fundraisers and donations for facility upgrades and scholarships.

    Role Description - TEACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE

    Job 1 Description: Part-Time ELEMENTARY TEACHER- 3rd-5th Grade History and/or Science Class Teacher at Creative STEAM** We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join Creative STEAM as a part-time 3rd-5th Grade History and/or Science Class Teacher. This on-site role involves working 1-2 days per week, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, focusing on providing instructional excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment.

    Job 2 Description: Part-Time MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER- 6th-8th Grade History and/or Science Class Teacher at Creative STEAM** We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join Creative STEAM as a part-time 6th-8th Grade History and/or Science Class Teacher. This on-site role involves working 1-2 days per week, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, focusing on providing instructional excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment.

    Job 3 Description: Part-Time HIGH SCHOOL 9th-10th Grade ELA, Math, and Science Teachers. Single subject credential. at Creative STEAM Prep** We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join Creative STEAM as a part-time High School Program. This program is new and growing and will allow more hours in the future. This on-site role involves working 1-3 days per week, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, focusing on providing instructional excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    A-G and A-G HONORS Curriculum Development - Design and implement engaging and effective curricula that align with state standards, Common Core guidelines, and meet ICAN requirements.

    Project and Lesson Planning - Create detailed project and lesson plans that stimulate student interest and facilitate in-depth understanding of history and/or science topics through a Project Based Hands-On Learning approach.

    Instruction - Deliver high-quality instruction in elementary history and/or science subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

    Communication Facilitation - Encourage open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and inclusive educational practices.

    Inclusive Learning Environment - Cultivate a classroom that welcomes all learners, promoting creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for discovery.

    Qualifications

    Curriculum Development and Elementary Education skills

    Experience in Teaching and Education

    Strong communication skills

    Demonstrated ability to create engaging learning experiences

    Passion for fostering exploration and discovery in students

    Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff

    Teaching Credential Multi-Subject

    Physical requirement of lifting up to 40lbs or moving heavy items occasionally
