About the Role:
New Artisens Childcare in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support child development
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all children
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and milestones
Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals and curriculum
Maintain accurate records, attendance, and developmental documentation
Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
Prior experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting
Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass required background checks and clearances per Pennsylvania state regulations
Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
