    Job Summary Pointe Academy is a Christian, play-based preschool committed to nurturing young children through joyful learning, spiritual growth, and strong community partnerships. We are seeking dedicated and energetic Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for creating a nurturing, developmentally rich environment rooted in Christian values.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with our curriculum and educational goals

    Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

    Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development

    Monitor and assess student progress to support individualized learning

    Communicate effectively with parents about daily routines, developmental milestones, and classroom updates

    Support diapering, potty training, and responsive caregiving routines

    Plan developmentally appropriate games and activities

    Design and maintain a consistent daily and weekly classroom schedule

    Provide basic care and nurturing support throughout the day

    Evaluate children’s growth to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

    Maintain open, respectful communication with families and colleagues

    Qualifications & Experience:

    CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred (we will train the right candidate)

    Previous experience with infants, toddlers, or twos in a childcare or educational setting

    Understanding of child development and classroom management strategies

    Experience in daycare, special education, babysitting, or nannying is a plus

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Familiarity with Procare is a plus

    Basic knowledge of sign language is a plus

    Commitment to Christian faith and values is required

    First aid/CPR certified

    Schedule Options:

    8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

    9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (hiring multiple positions)

    9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (greatest need - hiring multiple positions)
