    Salary and Benefits

    • The pay range for this position is based on experience ($22.52 - $26.87)

    Responsibilities

    • Monday – Friday (40 hours)
    • Head Start Program
    • Supervise children and maintain a safe, positive classroom environment.
    • Working with children ages up to 5 years old
    • Plan and lead daily activities that support learning and development.
    • Use curriculum and assessments to meet individual and group needs.
    • Adapt instruction for children with disabilities and dual-language learners.
    • Maintain regular communication with families and support family involvement.
    • Collaborate with support staff and refer families to appropriate services.
    • Ensure compliance with Head Start and agency standards and policies.

    Requirements

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK), or a related degree with at least 300 hours (20 semester or 30 quarter credits) in Early Childhood Education coursework (transcripts required).
    • Related degree holders must have at least 1 year of Pre-K classroom experience (ages 3–5), preferably with diverse populations including at-risk, special needs, gifted, and culturally diverse children.
    • Must complete and maintain all required annual training hours.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
