SAI Academy is seeking a skilled and proactive academic support specialist to support student-athletes in a highly individualized academic setting.
This is not a traditional lecture-based classroom role.
Your role is to provide targeted instruction, identify learning gaps, and ensure students develop genuine subject mastery. You will work closely with student-athletes whose training schedules demand flexibility, structure, and consistency.
While athletics may be central to their identity, we expect academics to be taken just as seriously within our walls.
We are looking for an educator who values independence, communicates clearly, and takes initiative without waiting for direction.
Role Overview
Support middle and high school students (STEM preferred) among other subject experience
Monitor and guide student progress within digital curriculum platforms (IXL, assessments, SAT/ACT prep tools)
Deliver individualized and small-group instruction daily
Design supplemental mini-lessons when gaps are identified
Pivot between multiple subject levels as needed
Maintain a focused, structured learning environment
Track academic progress and collaborate with leadership
This role does not require grading or full curriculum development.
There are no unpaid after-hours expectations.

Qualifications
Demonstrated mastery of high school subjects (STEM preferred)
Experience working with middle and/or high school students
Ability to differentiate instruction across learning levels
Proficiency with digital tools and Google Workspace
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Teaching certification preferred but not required for the right candidate.
