While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:

Location:

• School District of Palm Beach County campuses
• West Palm Beach, FL. 33401

Schedule:

• In-person position during the school day

Hours:

• Part-time
• Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-2:30PM (estimated)
• 22.50 hours per week with the ability to work 10+ hours when combined with virtual opportunities as the needs arise

Pay:

• $22-24 based on experience and other factors

In this role, you will:

• Aid/Tutor elementary students as follows: Math/Science - 5th Grade, Math - 3rd Grade, Math - 4th Grade, ELA - 4th/5th Grade, ELA - 3rd Grade.
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Have classroom experience teaching or supporting reading instruction
• Have experience using the Science of Reading or willingness to be trained in this
• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• You will pass FBI/DOJ background check
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
