Location: Longmeadow, MA 01106 Start Date: August 5, 2026 End Date: June 21, 2027 Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and licensed Teacher of the Deaf with fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to support students in a school-based setting for the 2026–2027 academic year in Longmeadow, MA.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Utilize fluent American Sign Language (ASL) for communication and instruction

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with school staff, service providers, and families to support student success

Foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

Valid Massachusetts certification/licensure as required by MA state law

Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
