Teaching Partners work alongside 0 - 3 Teacher Leaders to support calm, well-prepared environments for children.
Daily responsibilities include:
Supporting Montessori classroom routines and transitions
Helping prepare and maintain the classroom environment
Observing children and supporting their independence
Assisting with literacy routines and language-rich interactions
Maintaining clear communication with the classroom team
Contributing to a culture of respect, order, and curiosity
Over time, Teaching Partners begin leading small routines and developing their own classroom skills.

Teaching Partners gradually take on more responsibility as their skills develop. Many Teaching Partners begin preparing for movement into the Teacher role during their first year as they demonstrate readiness for increased leadership in the classroom.

You do not need prior Montessori experience to apply. EEC Certification is highly desirable, and not mandatory.
You do need a genuine commitment to learning and improving over time, as well as:
• Completed or nearly completed college coursework toward a bachelor's degree. Many of our strongest candidates are recent graduates or students finishing their final year of college.
• Experience working with children in environments such as camps, tutoring, childcare, mentoring, or youth programs is highly valued.
• A willingness to develop your craft as an educator through ongoing training and feedback.
Teaching Partners are hourly team members and are paid based on experience and background working with children.
Typical Teaching Partner pay range: $19 - $23 per hour
