Open Teaching Positions (2026–2027)

Colorado Christian Academy is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Employment Types & Compensation

Full-Time Positions

• Status: Full-Time, Exempt
• Schedule: August–May (school breaks off except required development days)
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Salary Range: $40,000–$80,000 annually (based on role and experience)

Substitute Positions

• Status: As Needed, Non-Exempt
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay Range: $22–$25 per hour

Position Overview

Teachers and substitutes at CCA provide high-quality, Christ-centered instruction while fostering academic growth, character formation, and spiritual development. Our educators partner closely with families and colleagues to cultivate joyful, structured, and relational learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction
• Maintaining a structured and supportive classroom environment
• Integrating biblical worldview and Christian values into daily instruction
• Supervising and mentoring students
• Supporting classroom routines and lesson plans (substitutes)
• Collaborating with faculty, staff, and families
• Participating in school events and professional development

Qualifications

Full-Time Teachers

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification or eligibility
• Relevant classroom experience preferred
• Strong commitment to Christian education

Preschool Teachers/Substitutes

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• PDIS Level 2 certification (required for preschool roles)
• Experience with young children preferred

• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Heart for student discipleship and academic excellence
