Opportunities for Prototype Engineers
Our Engineering department consists of more than 25 motivated Engineers, Designers, Draftsman, Admin, and Prototype Assemblers. We are looking for serious, motivated individuals who are looking for long-term opportunities within the company. Some CAD experience, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow are the main requirements. A positive attitude and spirit of cooperation are a must to fit into our environment. We train internally on the use of our CAD software, procedures, and products.
Software
3D Solid Modeling experience (either industry or school) is required. The following software is used in the department and although prior experience using this particular software is helpful, it is trained on the job and is not a requirement:
➢ Autodesk Inventor
➢ AutoCAD
➢ RhinoCAD
➢ Router-CIM by Cim-Tech
Responsibilities
➢ Interact with Sales to develop an engineering plan from a customer’s design intent.
➢ Use Autodesk Inventor to create 3D solid models and prototype drawings.
➢ Use AutoCAD to create CNC programs used to cut prototypes.
➢ Use Mavis, our internal product management system, to access and store all relevant product information.
