    Teal Media is seeking a DESIGN INTERN for a full-time, fully remote position.

    As a collaborative member of our creative team, you will create design deliverables in support of high-profile social impact clients tackling big challenges in health, climate, gender equity, human rights, and more. You will work closely with Art Directors and Senior Designers to raise awareness, build audiences, and increase engagement in some of the most pressing social justice issues of our time. Depending on the project, you will design everything from visual identities, social media graphics (static and animated), and infographics to print pieces, videos, presentations, and who knows what else!

    • IDEAL LOCATION: Remote (US residents only)
    • SALARY RANGE: $25/hr (3-6 month contract)

Teal is growing, and at the end of contract we will consider you for a full-time role depending on performance and our business needs.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Serve as the lead designer on projects and individual client retainers
    • Produce compelling visual design deliverables (visual identity design, digital design, animations, print design)
    • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with project team members and clients
    • Review creative briefs and project requirements with Art Director to ensure a thorough and complete understanding of assigned projects and tasks
    • Regularly consult with designers to ensure design deliverables are ready for client presentations and delivery
    • Produce task/project documentation
    • Gather and implement feedback
    • Document design decisions and formulate development specifications
    • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external project team members
    • Conduct quality assurance, testing, and proofing on project deliverables

    IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

    • Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of a relevant design program
    • Organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, and self-motivated
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
    • Ability to manage time effectively, paying attention to detail and adhering to deadlines in an agency setting
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an open-mindedness, curiosity, and a willingness to accept feedback
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust plans rapidly if needed
    • A willingness to jump in and help others
    • Brings passion, positivity, energy, and enthusiasm to the team
