JOB SUMMARY

Trucking Company based in the City of Industry is seeking for experienced Logistics Coordinator to build new businesses. The position will include services in Import/Export, Ocean freight, FCL/LCL/LTL/FTL, expedited and Project cargo. We offer a competitive pay, excellent benefits and PTO package, with year-end bonus.

JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate/ schedule to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments for delivery
• Maintain pickup & delivery appointments that meet customer requirements
• Facilitate all aspects of importation of cargo as necessary - i.e. arrange door deliveries
• Respond to inquiries and refer to proper channels
• Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns
• Collect & review documents and disseminate to ensure accurate information to and from all parties involved in freight movement
• Record keeping for all shipment transactions
• Track and trace movement from start to finish
• Customer service and relationship development and management

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in general freight forwarding or transportation/ logistics
• Familiar with the following terms: EXW, DDU, DDP, CIF, ISF, AMS, ETA, FOB, MET, CET, VACIS, 10+2, MBL, HBL
• Excellent phone, communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented
• General freight forwarding experienced or a transportation/ logistics major
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software; advanced application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) preferred
• Attention to details and keen on working in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual Mandarin preferred
