  • Responsibilities

    We are a military contract company, we haul ammo etc for the U.S. government.

    • Average teams make $187K - $218K+ annually!
    • Loaded Miles - .85 cpm
    • Empty Miles - .80 cpm
    • All drivers must have HAZMAT.
    • Must be ready-made teams, will not team drivers up.

    Driver requirements:

    • AT least 2+ years OTR experience
    • No more than three jobs in the last 5 years
    • No felonies, U.S. citizen

    Company trucks:

    • Freightliner Cascadia 126 & Volvo 860s
    • Double bunk, fridge, inverter and APU
    • Speed set at 70mph on foot and 73mph cruise
    • Trucks traded every two years
    • Have freight going to all 48 states, heavy in the Midwest.
    • Most loads are light 20,000 lbs or less is average. Mostly 48 ft vans some 53 ft. With a few flatbeds now.
    • Ideal for Husband and wife teams.
    • Takes a few weeks to get approved thru DOD. We cover the process and cost. The turnover rate is less than 5%, and only two teams have quit this year out of about 110. Have several that are retiring later this year and with the military build-up, have plenty of business.
    • NO felons at all, regardless how old, misd's can be reviewed if very old, but prefer nothing in the background.
    • Pets are OK but if damage to truck, drivers would be responsible for the damage.
    • Comprehensive medical insurance, dental/vision/ disability policies available 401k with employer match, 6 year vesting period (State Farm)
    • 7 paid holidays (New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Thanksgiving Friday and Christmas Day)
    • 5 vacation days first year, 10 days after year 1($415/day/team)
    • Urine Testing
    • No cameras in or out: We will never have inward-facing cameras due to the team aspect.
    • Company teams are asked to stay out for 3 weeks at a time, option to stay home 1 week. There are no set lanes.

    OTR:

    1. 2 days off per week OTR
    2. 2 weeks out/6 days off
    3. 3 weeks out, 6 days off
    4. 6 weeks out, 2 weeks off
