Job Summary:
As a Restaurant Team Leader for R & R Breakfast Spot, the candidate's role is ensuring a smooth operation and success of the restaurant. Your leadership directly impacts team collaboration, customer satisfaction, and overall company goals. You will interact with kitchen staff, servers, and customers, holding an important position within the restaurant’s organizational structure. Success in this role is measured through key performance indicators (KPIs) like customer satisfaction ratings, team performance metrics, and financial targets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Project Planning and Execution: Your role involves daily operations, scheduling shifts, and ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently to maintain high service standards.
· Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: You are responsible for addressing customer complaints, resolving team conflicts, and making critical decisions in real-time to uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
· Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management, you facilitate seamless teamwork to deliver exceptional dining experiences and achieve business objectives. The Team Lead acts as a backup server, allowing for additional income with tips.
· Leadership and Mentorship: As a leader, you inspire and mentor your team, fostering a positive work environment, building skills, and promoting a culture of excellence.
· Process Improvement and Innovation: Continuously seeking ways to enhance operational processes, and suggestions on implementing innovative strategies to stay ahead in a competitive market.
· Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities: Handling reservations, interacting with guests, overseeing management of inventory, and ensuring a delightful customer experience through your presence on the floor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
· Manage multiple, concurrent and conflicting priorities and deadlines.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of customers, staff contacted during your job.
· Proficient with operating office equipment such as POS system, telephone, smart products.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Education and Experience:
· 2-4 years of restaurant experience
· Minimum of 1 year leadership experience
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
