Team Lead / Trainer (Moving Company)

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and leading by example. As a Team Lead/Trainer, you will partner closely with ownership and operations to oversee daily moves, guide team members, and ensure each customer has an outstanding experience from start to finish. You'll play a key role in shaping our team culture and contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

What You'll Do

Meet with prospective clients to complete pre-move inspections

Lead crews on-site and assist with packing, loading, and unloading

Serve as the main point of contact for customers during their move

Coordinate with operations for scheduling and dispatch

Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and professionally

Collect payment and confirm customer satisfaction at job completion

What We're Looking For

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team

Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities

Willingness to assist with light administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in moving, logistics, or operations

Comfortable working directly with business ownership

Strong relationship-building skills

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
