JOB DESCRIPTION: TEAM LEADER
Description: Reports to the Operations Director; supervises and coordinates client care workers and their schedules; monitors and implements daily house routines, house rules and programs for residents; interacts with residents in a supportive manner and encourages them to follow through on their service plans; suggests ideas for program changes/improvements.
Preferred Qualifications: Some college or trade school education preferred and two years of leadership experience. Candidate must be tech-savvy and comfortable using MS Office products and efficient at learning other database programs. S/he is willing to learn, flexible, and is a critical thinker with superb problem-solving skills. Must be committed to helping the homeless shelter population.
Principal Activities:
Oversees scheduling of 24x7 coverage and ensures clear communication of changes across the client care worker team.
Develops the trust and respect of the residents; acts as a role model in compassion toward residents for client care workers to emulate.
Builds good relationships with staff, communicate client needs and issues with case managers.
Takes responsibility for guiding client care workers on their shift duties including intakes, incident reports, rounds and de-escalation.
Ensures best practices are in place for cleaning and food prep protocols.
Supports the Operations Director with protocols and processes related to state and county requirements.
Attend staff meetings and in-service training workshops as required.
Other duties as required.
Please note the Team Leader will be required to have a flexible schedule to meet the agency's need for 24x7 coverage.
Salary Range: $42, 000+, medical and other benefits
