    Job Summary:
    Leonardo Helicopters is seeking a results-driven and experienced Team Lead to supervise daily operations within our [production/maintenance/assembly] unit at AgustaWestland. The successful candidate will oversee a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, ensuring all tasks meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards in accordance with aviation regulatory requirements and company procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, coordinate, and monitor the work of a team of technicians and mechanics in the [assembly/maintenance/production] area.

    • Ensure all work complies with EASA/FAA regulations, company standards, and customer specifications.

    • Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing direction, and facilitating continuous improvement.

    • Coordinate workload scheduling to meet production targets and project deadlines.

    • Act as a liaison between management and team members, promoting effective communication and problem resolution.

    • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets technical and regulatory standards.

    • Identify training needs and assist with onboarding and skill development for team members.

    • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all team members adhere to health and safety protocols.

    • Monitor inventory levels of tools, parts, and materials; request resupply as needed.

    • Prepare and maintain accurate reports/documentation for internal audits and customer reviews.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, helicopter assembly, or maintenance (preferably with AgustaWestland or similar OEM).

    • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a technical or aviation environment.

    • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Part 145, FAA Part 43, etc.).

    • Technical diploma or degree in aerospace engineering, aircraft maintenance, or related field.

    • A&P license or equivalent (preferred for maintenance roles).

    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

    • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

    $55.00/hour for Expert (15+ years of experience in Aerospace).

    •401(k) Match: 6%.

    •PTO (paid vacation/sick leave): 0.08 hours of PTO for every hour worked.

    •Permanence BONUS: $3,000.00/year for Junior; $3,600.00/year for Intermediate;

    $4,200.00/year for Senior; $4,500.00/year for Expert.

    •Raises: For the second and third year of employment, gross hourly wages will be increased by approx. 3% each year; starting from the fourth year, the wage will be renegotiated.

    •Health insurance: U.S. health insurance reimbursed by HBAC according to the following monthly caps and upon submission of proof of payment: $750.00/month for Junior; $1,000.00/month for Intermediate; $1,500.00/month for Senior; $2,000.00/month for Expert.

    •Overtime from Monday to Saturday: +50% on top of the gross wage.

     

    •Sunday overtime: +100% on top of the gross wage if also working on Saturday, otherwise +50%.

    •Wage payment: Every 15 days.

    •Contract termination: Either party may terminate the contract with a minimum notice period of 4 weeks.

    •Location of work: AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation (AWPC) facility in Philadelphia, PA.

    •Tools will be provided by AWPC: There is no need for the employer to have his own toolbox.
