    GENERAL SUMMARY

    This role will lead all aspects of Organic and Paid Social Media for Chateau Ste. Michelle, the flagship brand of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. The role will also contribute to Social Media strategy and ideation across all Ste Michelle Wine Estate brands supported by Team One.  

     

    Day to Day Responsibilities:

     

    Organic Social Media: 

    • Lead organic social strategy, content calendars and campaign development. Will include collaboration with client on client-created content that will supplement agency efforts. 
    • Manage ongoing communication with clients, including client meeting content preparation, documentation of next step clarification, schedules, status updates and approvals.
    • Present recommendations and program summaries to clients, with frequent client communication in between.
    • Identify real-time engagement opportunities that align with client objectives. 
    • Being at the forefront of the digital, social trends and the competitive space, and bringing ideas about how CSM could capitalize on these trends
    • Management of editorial calendar and content uploads to Client Publishing Tool
    • Contribute Organic Social strategy and execution ideas across all Ste. Michelle brand campaigns

     

    Organic Social Media Analytics: 

    • Keeping up to date on engagement metrics and analytics for all of CSM social channels, recommending changes based on results.
    • Partner with analytics lead to develop quarterly social performance and social listening report for CSM and competitive brands.
    • Lead ad-hoc client requests, including competitive deep dives or audience profiling.
    • Present all reporting to clients inclusive of providing recommendations for applying learnings to future campaign improvements.

     

     

    Paid Social Media 

    • Lead Chateau Ste. Michelle paid social creative development, including managing communications with the client and ensuring all projects have clear briefs with agreed upon objectives. 

    • Collaborating with internal agency teams and developing an efficient agency workflow for ongoing campaign development and execution. 

    • Partnering with the media team to deliver on client goals and KPIs for organic and paid social efforts.

      Experience: Primarily looking for an individual with 3-4 years of Social Media Experience on high-profile brands, combined with 1-4 years of previous Public Relations or Publicity experience, with online emphasis.

       

      Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred. 

       

      Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. A motivated thinker that is pro-active and confident, understands and engages with social and mobile platforms and works well with a team.  This individual will possess both an understanding of online consumer behaviors, along with multiple engagement and tracking methods. Other skills include but are not limited to:

      ·       Be both a good listener and an able and inspiring communicator

      ·       Ability to interpret marketing research data both quantitative and qualitative

      ·       Have a balance of creative and analytical thinking

      ·       Highest fluency in all social media channels, including but not limited to:  Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Vine, Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Periscope, Meerkat and others.

      ·       Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as required

      ·       Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks

      ·       Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy

      ·       Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
