TeamBuilders Employment & Business Solutions has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced AGRONOMY SUPPORT TECH for our client in Fresno, CA.

The Agronomy Support Tech will be responsible for providing support to the Agronomy team of a local Agricultural business with a variety of duties such as technical report writing, sample data collection and interpretation, coordinating shipments, scheduling testing, inventory control and planning.

The position for the Agronomy Support Tech is being offered on a full time, temp to hire basis (will become permanent) and a pay range of $22.00 to $30.00 per hour DOE. Company offers an extensive benefits package.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AGRONOMY SUPPORT TECH INCLUDE:

• Providing technical and clerical support to the Agronomy and Management team
• Project Coordination; planning, logistics and inventory
• Technical report writing; research, recording, organizing, data and presenting detailed technical reports
• Field Support; research, planning sample collections, performing, testing and analysis of sample collections (plant, soil and water)
• Additional related duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION OF THE AGRONOMY SUPPORT TECH:

• BS Degree in Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology or related field of study required with a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing the duties listed in the job description within an Ag, Food Manufacturing, Chemistry or Biology related industry
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, LIMS software experience helpful
• Must have a strong Chemistry Lab background
• Professional, technical and effective communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)
• Impeccable detail orientation, time management and project management skills
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Position will require driving on occasion and a valid CA DL and clean driving record are required
