    Job Description

    TeamBuilders is recruiting for an experienced ACCOUNTING/HR SPECIALIST to join the corporate office of a local business in Fresno, CA.    The Accounting/HR Specialist will be responsible for handling a variety of Human Resources duties in addition to Accounting and Administrative Duties within a fast paced corporate office.    The hours of the Accounting/HR Specialist position are full time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM and this position will be onsite at the employer location in Fresno, CA. Some overtime will be required as necessary and the starting pay is up to $25 hourly/$52k yearly, DOE.    THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE ACCOUNTING/HR SPECIALIST TO INCLUDE:

    • Performing Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
    • Processing Payroll 
    • Coordinating employee benefits
    • Administering Workers' Compensation claims and LOA's
    • Recruiting and interviewing
    • Onboarding new employees and processing all employment paperwork
    • Conducting new hire orientations
    • Coordination of employee reviews
    • Administering exit interviews and exit paperwork
    • Employee expense processing
    • Billing/Invoicing
    • Entering cash receipts
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Collection of past due accounts
    • Processing payments and check runs
    • Purchasing office supplies
    • Month end duties; General ledger entries & adjustments, credit card statement reconciliation, financial statement preparation and bank reporting
    • General administrative and clerical duties
    • Provide administrative support to management team as necessary
    • Coordination of travel and meetings for employees and management team

      THE REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION OF THE HR SPECIALIST:

    • Must have at least 3 years' experience in Human Resources and Administrative Accounting, handling the listed duties
    • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred however, a combination of experience and education will be considered
    • Professional communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high-level of accuracy
    • Strong organizational, time management and detail orientation skills
    • Advanced MS Office skills; Word, Excel & Outlook
    • Previous experience with Famous Software or similar ERP software programs
    • Previous experience with Payroll Processing Software & Accounting Software programs
