This role is ideal for someone currently working on their CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ certification at a local technical college.The Level I IT Technician - Trainee role will provide the individual with the opportunity to have hands-on experience in IT support and services for our Bellevue-based IT Managed Services company.The day-to-day activities in the role will provide real-world practical experience to the material from the certification classes at the technical college.The day-to-day activities will include, but not limited to:- Setting up and configuring PCs, laptops, desktops from scratch and/or using Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager (an Azure based service)- Installing software including Windows OS, business applications, anti-virus - Working directly with clients, handling support phone calls to fix customer IT issues- Working with Microsoft applications, Office 365, Azure services and other business applications such as Adobe etc- Exposure to networking, Windows Servers, virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper-V- Working on backup technologies- Working on cybersecurity technologiesThis role is a great stepping stone into a Full Time role for the ideal candidate.Our companyWe are a locally-owned business providing comprehensive IT services to small- and medium-sized businesses in the Bellevue/Redmond/Kirkland area. Are currently pursuing an IT technical certification such as CompTIA's A+/Network+/Security+, or equivalent, at a local technical college

Have a learning and open mindset

Have great interpersonal skills

(can communicate well and work well with people)

Are motivated to build your career in the IT field and willing to put in the time and effort

Have a strong work ethic and a service mindset

Are local to the Seattle Eastside area (Bellevue/Redmond/Kirkland), and able to be in our Bellevue office during your work schedule
