Channel Account Manager – Western US & Canada (Remote)
Job Description
In this position you are responsible for managing, educating, and growing the Partner ecosystem in your territory. This is a quota carrying position based on closed won opportunities that your resellers source in your territory. You will generate pipeline from your partners and pass these leads to TeamViewer Account Executives in an overlay model.
This position is remote with approximately 25% travel. The candidate for this position should live near a major airport in any of the following locations: Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, or British Columbia.
Drive pipeline creation from the Partner Program through identifying and developing high priority partners, regions, or vertical segments.
Create business plans with existing Partners that create revenue goals, marketing activities, and enablement opportunities.
Identify, target, qualify, recruit, and activate new resellers.
Coordinate account planning sessions between partners and TeamViewer Account Executives.
Enable partners through training on the TeamViewer Partner Portal, sales certifications, deal registration, best practices, case studies, and other sales tools.
Understand the organizational structure of Partner companies & connect TeamViewer and Partner Executives to drive pipeline.
Hold quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with Partners to review successes and opportunities for advancement.
Collaborate with Account Executives and Partners throughout the sales process to win opportunities.
Keep internal systems up to date including opportunities, deal registrations, business plans, and sales plays.
This position requires up to 25% travel in the US and Canada
Qualifications
At least 2 years of prior reseller, account management, or account executive experience
Understanding of the reseller/partner relationship in an overlay sales model
Experience with various prospecting methods to identify and qualify new resellers
Technology competence with tools like Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, and Microsoft Office
Experience selling and demonstrating a SaaS product
Ability to think fast, multi task, and organize competing priorities
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related area preferred
