  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Administrator to join our team. The Teamcenter Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day administration of our Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. This role will ensure system stability, optimize performance, and support end-users in leveraging Teamcenter effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Teamcenter system administration, user and access management, and system troubleshooting, with the ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Install, configure, and maintain Teamcenter environments, including application servers, web servers, and databases.

    · Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions within Teamcenter.

    · Monitor system health, performance, and usage; troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.

    · Apply patches, service packs, and upgrades to Teamcenter environments.

    · Ensure data integrity, perform backups, and support disaster recovery procedures.

    · Work with architects, developers, and business teams to support integrations, configurations, and system enhancements.

    · Maintain and update system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and best practices.

    · Provide Tier 2/3 support to end-users and escalate issues as needed.

    · Participate in testing and validation of new releases, updates, and configurations.

    · Stay informed about new Teamcenter features, enhancements, and industry best practices.

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

    · Proven experience in Teamcenter administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

    · Strong understanding of Teamcenter modules (e.g., Engineering, Change Management, BOM) and user access controls.

    · Familiarity with Teamcenter IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server), and web/application servers.

    · Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, patches, and environment migrations.

    · Knowledge of PLM best practices, data management, and product development processes.

    · Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

    · Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

    · Experience supporting DoD or other government contracts.

    · Teamcenter certification from Siemens or equivalent.

    · Familiarity with other Siemens PLM tools (e.g., NX, Solid Edge).

    · Experience with cloud-hosted Teamcenter environments.
