Role: Teamcenter Administrator
Location: Chicago, IL

Citizenship: US Citizen required (due to ITAR compliance)
We’re seeking a highly skilled Teamcenter Admin to lead the administration, deployment, and optimization of Teamcenter PLM environments in both pre-Production and Production systems. This role requires deep expertise in Teamcenter architecture, scripting automation, and cross-functional coordination across enterprise infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain #Teamcenter PLM (versions 13, 14, 2406+), including #AWC, #BMIDE, #T4EA, #TcRA, and Dispatchers
- Define PLM architecture and manage installation, upgrades, patches, and integrations
- Collaborate with IT Security to align with #ITAR compliance standards
- Optimize PLM system performance and database tuning
- Automate processes using #Python, #Perl, or batch scripting; experience with #DevOps pipelines and #DeploymentCenter preferred
- Coordinate with #Database, #Linux, #Network, and #Hardware teams to troubleshoot and resolve environment issues
- Support major upgrade projects (e.g., Tc10 → Tc11, Tc12 → Tc13), and manage global deployments
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of #PLM processes: configuration management, lifecycle, and change control
- Proficient in #UserManagement, access controls, and workflow optimization
- Integration experience with #CAD, #ERP, and enterprise systems
- Skilled in #WindowsServer and #Linux environments (RedHat, SuSE)
- Familiarity with scripting languages: #Java, #Python, #JavaScript
Soft Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with multi-site/global PLM environments
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and vendor management skills
- Agile learner with a proactive and autonomous working style
