    A company headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, focused on providing systems integration, software engineering, and professional I.T. services for a diversified group of commercial, state, and federal government customers is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 within a Federal Agency environment. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for directing, reviewing, planning, and overseeing all aspects of the implementation, the activities and work products of project staff, and serving as the primary contact for the Government COR. Her/his primary objective will be to ensure the seamless implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, meeting the agency's requirements while aligning with industry best practices and compliance standards.

    The successful candidate will be an experienced technical project management professional with experience overseeing, planning, and tracking an Agile-based IT project. She/he must also be able to engage directly in the development and implementation of the technical solution.

    Functional Responsibility:


    1\. Plan, lead, and manage the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 using SAFe Agile methodologies and practices, ensuring the successful delivery of the CRM solution within budget and schedule constraints.


    2\. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including agency leadership, project teams, and external partners, to understand their needs and priorities.


    3\. Coordinate with federal agency stakeholders to ensure the CRM solution meets federal compliance standards, including Section 508.


    4\. Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables, and create and manage a detailed project plan, schedule, and budget.


    5\. Manage staff, including subcontractors, in the performance of the required work; assign tasks and deadlines.

    6\. Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, external contractors and vendors, and agency stakeholders.

    7\. Plan the overall project and monitor progress to ensure that milestones are being met.

    8\. As the primary point person, provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Manage the risks and issues that might arise over the course of the project life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur.

    9\. Proactively identify and develop opportunities for project expansion through attention to customer’s growth goals and concerns.

    10\. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.

    11\. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for incorporating them into the agency's IT environment.



    Required Skills:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

    · 15 plus years of experience in IT Program Management.

    · An active PMP certification.

    · 2+ years of direct experience implementing MS Dynamics in a federal agency.

    · 5+ years of experience working with federal customers to deliver technical solutions, including Section 508.

    · Experience with Agile project management methodologies.


    · Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Desired Skills/Certifications:


    · Microsoft Technologies - Experience with other Microsoft technologies and integration with Dynamics 365.

    · ITIL- A certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) showcases knowledge of IT service management practices and processes, which is essential for delivering high-quality IT services.

    · Agile or CSM - Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, is valuable for effectively managing IT projects and teams.

    · ISO (9001, 27001, 20000) - Having knowledge or certifications related to ISO standards can showcase an individual's commitment to implementing industry-recognized best practices and adherence to international standards for quality management, information security, and IT service management.
