    Sales and Marketing Professional Job Description: Our Commercial Carpet Cleaning Division has an opening for full-time sales professional to maintain, develop and promote the company’s services to existing and potential customers. Our primary customers and contacts are retail and commercial clients, restaurants, property managers, and institutional/educational facility managers. Our focus is on commercial properties and facilities that may experience that are in need of Commercial Carpet and Hard Surface cleaning services. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter that can work independently and develop close relationships with customers and potential customers. Company-related travel will be reimbursed.

    Duties of this position require the employee to work in cooperation with all Teasdale Fenton divisions and are as stated below:

    Develop and implement a commercial carpet cleaning sales plan to target clients (referral sources) for growth.

    Develop and Maintain Expert Knowledge of:

    Commercial Carpet Cleaning Services

    Hard Surface (VCT) Care

    Air Duct / HAVC Cleaning

    Water Mitigation / Emergency Services

    Develop target lists in selected segments that maximize growth potential in a sales territory.

    Identify and develop new client relationships.

    Develop relationships with potential and existing referral sources.

    Cold Calling is a must!

    Continual prospecting; cold calling, following up on leads and referrals & contacting new offices and personnel in the office of existing customers.

    Manage client inquiries and provide customer service.

    Set up and attend appointments.

    Follow up on all sales/marketing activity through telephone, written and personal contact.

    Maintain a breadth of knowledge of operations and the mitigation, restoration, and repair industry.

    Know functions and goals of all profit centers, including but not limited to water, fire, mold, content/cleaning, and pack-out.

    Analyze current customer base, local market & economic conditions, and primary competitors.

    Meet sales and performance goals

    Make field (Face-to-face) visits to potential and existing clients.

    Demonstrate excellent sales skills.

    Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and follow-up.

    Actively participate in all team sales/marketing calls and team meetings and training.

    Develop and maintain accurate & complete customer files that enable easy tracking of an account’s progress

    Manage expenses to maximize return on investment.

    Ensure total compliance with all company policies and values and government regulations.

    Work as an effective team member.
