HIGH REACH FORKLIFT OPERATOR (1st SHIFT, 7AM-3:30PM) - LOUISVILLE, KY

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate stand-up forklift/reach truck to stow and pull palletized inventory
• Escalate and report safety hazards and show commitment to a safe work environment
• Rotate and organize goods on Warehouse double-deep racking up to 40 feet high using reach equipment
• Work with team leaders to provide timely support to production regarding supply and/or removal of raw materials and finished goods
• Load and unload pallets from trailers safely and efficiently
• Stack empty pallets and organize materials by lot/expiration
• Accurately utilize RF scanners to track inventory moves
• Assist in keeping work areas clear of refuse by sweeping, collecting trash, and other housekeeping activities
• Participate in physical inventory counts by reporting quantity and locations of specific pallets with an RF scanner
• Inspect equipment to determine safety, as well as plug/unplug forklifts at charging stations
• Will be required to pick and pack orders, build pallets, label cases, and accurately follow product codes
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas and inspect product for quality compliance
• Wear hairnet, beard net, safety vest, and hygienic clothing to maintain high standards for food production

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to perform all duties as assigned in the work instructions

• Must have previous experience on Reach/High Lift

• Must be able to communicate well with peers and leadership via hand-held radio

• Must be able to reach and fill out appropriate Warehouse logs/documents

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be ale to stand for 8+ hours

TRAINING:

• Annual GMP, Safety and Quality policy training.
• Annual review of work instructions.
• Additional training as necessary.
