POSITION: As a (Senior) Full Stack Java Developer you’ll be working in-house directly with the founding members of our company - experienced developers and programmers like you who joined together to build ground-breaking software solutions. You’ll collaborate, as part of our core team, on the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of our software systems and/or applications. Your ideas will have a direct impact on both the direction of our software and our company growth, and you’ll be positioned to share future profits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in-house with our team in our Columbus, Ohio office location 5 days a week
Perform all programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work
Work independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems
Drive application development focused around delivering business valuable features
Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habitS
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of Programming
5+ years of Java Servlets
5+ years of MySQL/MariaDB
5+ years of HTML 5 and CSS 3
5+ years of Javascript and jQuery
5+ years of Linux experience (RPM based)
Hands on experience using Maven
Hands on experience using Git
Ability to work across multiple teams in parallel
Strong and clear communicator who can listen as well as articulate ideas
Strong collaboration and sense of teamwork to achieve ambitious goals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
NetBeans
BASH
SOAP and REST web services
Python
Linux system administration
A BSBA degree or higher in science or technology

Positive “can do” attitude and a desire to contribute to a growing, energetic work environment
History building or supporting any of the multiple software solutions and systems utilized within the automotive industry – it’s viewed as a huge plus!
JOB TYPES: Full Time or Contract
PAY: Competitive Salary or Hourly Pay
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is 5 days a week, in-house position at our Columbus, Ohio location
Flextime Available/Core work day of 8 hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Company supported health insurance and supplemental benefits
15 days (negotiable) of PTO available after a 90 day probationary period
6 company paid holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
