We are currently looking for a Director of Business Development for the following locations: Miami, Florida, or Fort Worth, Texas.
The position is onsite for the above locations. Open for hybrid for a stud, but must be willing to travel when needed.
SaaS experience is a must and would be great if they come from a Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Transportation or Returns industry!
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Establish and maintain executive relationships with clients to become the trusted advisor Ability to articulate a strong value proposition at the executive level.
Manage a complex sales process focusing on software and supply chain solutions, potentially with multiple decision makers and influencers
Develop a deep knowledge of assigned clients/prospects
Create/develop innovative networking skills to develop and drive pipeline for assigned solutions
Collaborate with internal resources and external network to prioritize and penetrate key accounts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred, in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Economics
6 to 10 years proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services or software) to large multinational companies
SaaS Sales experience is highly preferred
Proven experience in prospecting and developing new business, by effectively building prospect lists and strong ability to transition prospects to clients
Ability to build credibility quickly with new clients
Proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions
Strong ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship
Expert with the consultative sales approach
Proficient with previous CRM tools
