    Job Description

     DURATION: 6 MONTHS AND HAS A CHANCE TO EXTEND

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, release, and post release phases for software projects 
    • High attention to detail, ability to think strategically and execute methodically 
    • Lead iterative delivery of cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch, through focus on transparency, communication, visibility and accountability  
    • Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge 
    • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Product to deliver SW products on time and budget 
    • Manage outsources services and keep track of their spending and progress 
    • Perform risk management and scope management on projects, and identify blockers

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related technical discipline. 
    • 3+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry 
    • 5+ years of relevant software development (design, build, test, and release) experience. 
    • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
    • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on programs 
    • Familiarity to CI / CD, Azure DevOps boards, release management and/or engineering management working on software engineering project. 
    • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering. 
    • Medical device industry and design control experience 
    • Expertise delivering projects with agile methodologies (scrum master preferred) 
    • 2+ years of AWS, Azure, or a comparable cloud infrastructure offering experience 
    • A strong track record of on-time project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.  
    • Ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.  
    • Capability to create a strong business and technical vision and drive a team towards that vision.  
    • Identify, evaluate, track and mitigate issues and risks.  
    • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.  
    • Problem-solving skills and abilities to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements and effectively prioritize program deliverables.  
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
