    Job Description

    PROJECT SUMMARY: Design, construction and modification of secure program areas/SCIF. Strong knowledge of ICD 705 technical specifications

    LOCATION: Colorado Springs, Colorado

    CLEARANCE: U.S. Citizenship required

    DUTIES:

    Perform Technical Security functions and assure overall operating policy is in compliance with applicable program, federal and company directives for the design, construction and modification of secure program areas.

    • Apply ICD 705 in the construction/ modification of facilities to provide contract space.

    • Create construction security plans, work with team members to develop area design plans, perform pre-construction tempest surveys, complete and provide pre and final fixed facility checklist documentation for area accreditation.

    • Create and build drawing packages that accompany accreditation documentation. Experience with AUTOCAD, VISIO or other medium is a plus.

    • Manage multiple projects and tasks.

    • Review blueprints and city plans to ensure all security design considerations are dealt with early during the planning phase.

    • Provide recommendations/solutions to resolve technical security situations that arise from building location/ designs or materials.

    • Perform risk analysis and report findings with recommendations for corrective actions.

    • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    PRE-REQUISITES:

    • Applied knowledge with administration of accreditation packages (FFCL, TEMPEST, CSP, etc. . .)

    • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

    • Tact, diplomacy and ability to interact with senior business, industry and US Government personnel.

    • In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered.

    EDUCATION:

    • BS/BA plus 4 or more years of related experience is required.

    • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
