The Principal Consultant is responsible for providing customer-centric consulting services to lead customers through the process of determining, designing, and implementing e-commerce solutions. The Principal Consultant provides expertise in product selection, implementation, and configuration of a solution for a customer’s business needs. The Consultant also has expertise in design and implementation of customer-centric interactive websites and the use of software to automate the enterprise.

Top candidates are knowledgeable in software development and e-commerce to help our clients develop, use, and integrate e-commerce systems. You’ll take the hassle out of resolving technical problems and integration by maximizing the value of technology in business. Architectural expertise, problem-solving aptitude, and leadership are must-have qualities.

Responsibilities_:_

1. Provide expert advice on all aspects of online commerce including but not limited to: product selection, implementation, configuration, and customer experience

2. Work with customers as they define their business requirements

3. Assist with product selection

4. Define site structure and design

5. Build interactive e-commerce sites

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with modern applications/development, architectural patterns, and languages/technologies such as JAVA, AWS, Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, Linux, MVC/MVVM, Bootstrap, React/Redux, Angular, MEAN Stack, CSS, HTML, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Visual Code.
• 5+ years of experience in the development of multi-tiered web applications in Java, Java EE, or Node.js.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another engineering degree.
• Ability to work with customers and SMEs to understand the requirement and develop innovative solutions using a variety of technologies.
• Ability to document requirements, work on an Agile SCRUM team, verify that code is complete, tested, and well written.
• Experience with database design
• Expertise in JavaScript, REST, SOAP, Node.js, AWS, and GitHub
• Strong OOP or Functional Programming and modeling skills
• Specific Responsibilities 
• Collaborate with Project Managers other Sr developers to solve complex problems.
• Build, optimize and refactor code to meet design specifications and code standards.
• Work in an Agile environment across the entire SDLC.
• Communicate with clients, partners, and other developers to understand, document, and execute a development strategy across multiple components.
