Techline Construction is seeking a Powerline Crew (Foreman, Linemen, Operators, and Groundmen) in Van Alstyne, Texas and the surrounding area.Responsibilities include: Foreman:• Lead and direct people, equipment, and resources• Organize and coordinate daily activities of all crew members and resources to keep project on time• Ensure company/rented equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained, and used effectivelyLineman:• Perform lineman work on new construction, maintenance projects, or repair work on new, old and pre-existing power lines• Remove, install, and wire transformers• Work on energized/de-energized and high voltage systems in the field• Set poles and troubleshoot as neededOperator:• All tasks associated with distribution line work• Working from a pole with climbing gear, from a bucket truck, or while on the groundGroundman:• Assemble materials on the ground• Assist other crew members in filling pole holes and trench using a shovel• Flag traffic and set up job sites as directed• Maintain organization of tools and materials on work vehicles• Clean up and organize job sites at completion of workSkills and Abilities: • Able to adapt to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather• Able to meet physical requirements.
