Techline Construction is seeking a Lineman in Van Alstyne, Texas and the surrounding area for Power Utility work.

Responsibilities include:​

Perform lineman work on new construction, maintenance projects, or repair work on new, old and pre-existing power lines

Remove, install, and wire transformers

Work on energized/de-energized and high voltage systems in the field

Set poles

Troubleshoot as needed

Power Distribution systems involved in running/stringing/hanging power lines either overhead/underground systems.

Skills and abilities:

Able to adapt to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather.

Able to meet physical requirements. Actions include but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting and maneuvering 90 pounds, and more.

Requirements:

Must have at least five years lineman experience

Must have a valid Class A CDL within 3 months of employment

Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test

Adhere to company safety and health policies - will receive safety training
