  • Responsibilities

    Techline Sports Lighting is seeking a Northeast Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to cover various states, including CT, DC, DE, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VT. This position will be responsible for market development, sales, growth, and profitability of assigned territory. The RSM is supported by a corporate vertical team, which provides technical support and resources necessary to excel in territory development.

    Responsibilities include:

    Sales calls to end users, including municipalities, high schools, universities, etc.

    Develop and recommend annual sales plan and regional goals for the sports lighting market

    Promote benefits of company LED products, services, capabilities, and benefits

    Develop and maintain successful relationships with end-user customer base and key specifiers, including architects and engineers, who are influential in the purchasing process

    Identify relationships beneficial to developing the territory, including energy service companies, field builders, turf companies, engineers, architects, and any other trades beneficial to territory sales development

    Negotiate contracts for all transactions within the territory

    Travel: Candidates should expect to travel approximately 2-3 days per week in assigned territory.

    High level of critical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

    Exercise discretion and confidentiality with company information

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited four year college. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.

    At least three to five years relevant sales experience in a similar position.

    Willingness to travel.

    Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
