    Level II IT Technician

    Reports To:

    IT & MSP Manager

    Salary Range:

    $72,500 - $82,500

    General Purpose of Job:

    This is an in-office and field service installation role responsible for the successful installation and end-to-end management of assigned tasks, focused on delivering on company standards, every time, based on Techmenity’s company principles document.

    Essential Functions:

    • Provide attentive and proactive installation, support, feedback, and accountability to projects assigned by the IT & MSP Manager.
    • Lead by example, holding yourself to higher standards while supporting company initiatives.
    • Contribute to a dynamic and creative work environment where employees are trusted to communicate openly, perform at their highest level, make valuable contributions to the team, and meet rigorous expectations.
    • Lead and execute assigned IT projects from conception to completion. Including but not limited to:
      • Installation, implementation, maintenance, and quality control of assigned installation projects.
      • Provide project updates and progress reports regularly.
      • Create and maintain all project-related documentation following Techmenity company guidelines.
      • Verify work performed meets company standards/principles, including proper testing and client tutorials
    • Create and maintain meticulous project-related documentation, including client systems and job details.

    Preferred Technical Skill Level

    • 3+ years experience repairing/troubleshooting/diagnosing equipment such as: printers, phones, computers, networking equipment, and other common home and office equipment.
    • 2+ years experience with network terminations, punch downs, and cable toning and testing
    • 1+ years Azure Active Directory and/or Active Directory Domain Services
    • 1+ years Google Admin/Microsoft Admin Platform
    • 1+ years using an Identity and Access Management (IAM) such as Okta, Ping, OneLogin.
    • 1+ years working with Box, SharePoint, Lucid chart, Dropbox or another Document Management System
    • 1+ Years of experience with Routers, Switches and Access Points
    • Demonstrated experience with network terminations, punch downs, and cable toning and testing
    • Experience analyzing and managing Endpoint Detection and Response
    • Experience with VoIP and hardware. (Yealink,Poly, etc…)
    • Experience with device Management with Microsoft Intune/EndPoint Manager
    • Exposure to Virtual Environments (Virtualbox, VMware)
    • Experience managing company SSL Certificates, domain names and DNS records.
    • Experience configuring and maintaining VPN’s (site to site, client)
    • Experience managing Lastpass or other password managers
