    Job Description

    The analyst will be responsible for data gathering and analysis of software product requirements for the Michigan Nutrition Data System (MiND) mobile and web applications.  Primary responsibility will be the mobile application requirements and then assisting the business analyst on the web application requirements. 

    Experience writing requirements for a mobile application would be a plus, but not required.

    DAILY TASKS: • Assist in gathering requirements and project specifications. • Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication between business product owner and development team.

    REQUIRED SKILLS: Exposure to Business Applications – REQUIRED 3 YEARS. Ability to conduct training & information sessions, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, make oral and written reports and presentations – REQUIRED 3 YEARS. Experience in a professional office environment – REQUIRED 3 YEARS. Proficiency with MS Office – REQUIRED 2 YEARS. Experience in a role, as a business analyst, supporting a software development project. – REQUIRED 3 YEARS. Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle – REQUIRED 2 YEARS. Experience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project. – HIGHLY DESIRED 1 YEAR. Experience in working with a software development team. – HIGHLY DESIRED 1 YEAR. Experience creating business requirements for mobile applications IOS/Android – DESIRED 6 MONTHS. Experience on a software project developed using Agile – DESIRED 6 MONTHS. Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, using Work Item Tracking – DESIRED 6 MONTHS.
